Advocacy

Jess is an advocate for equal rights for all humans, and fights discriminatory legislation where ever she finds it.

• Testified before the Texas Senate & House committees on state affairs twice during the 2017 Texas bathroom bill fight.

• Testified again in 2019 against discriminatory legislation in the Texas legislation.

• I volunteer my time to Equality Texas to influence legislation in my state, and The LGBT Victory Institute to promote diversity in political office around the world.

•I march, I speak but mostly I am an out, proud transgender woman willing to speak up.
